Created a design process playbook that outlines our design and development standards, Agile process, delivery timeline estimates, etc. This asset is currently an important part of our initial engagement with both internal teams and external agencies, and has helped us standardize our process, deliverables, and outcomes.
In my first few months at Edwards, I audited our current web properties and created a digital toolkit of components. Following the Atomic Design methodology, I defined small, consistent, and re-usable components in order to speed up design and development times.
Introduced and implemented Figma into our tool stack. This has helped us modernize/streamline wireframing, prototyping, and collaboration.
Lead design activities such as story mapping, heuristics analysis, IDEO-style design thinking workshops, etc. These tools were not known to our group before my arrival, and are now used as ways to brainstorm and arrive at solutions to problems in a goal oriented manner.
Educate internal stakeholders and evangelize the role of design as a first-class citizen in the product development lifecycle.

Led a cross functional team of designers to craft Blizzard’s internal ecosystem of tools, including the company intranet, request and incident management tools, visitor experience tools, BlizzCon related applications, and more.

Prototyped interactive elements using jQuery, Axure, and Balsamiq. Had ownership of the entire cycle that saw the prototypes brought to fruition.

Designed and developed the primary user-facing component - a video player that sync’d rich media content to time stamps. Effectively one of the earliest webinar platforms on the web.
Designed three major releases of an accompanying video portal - allowing users to search, categorize, and manage content delivered through the Accordent video player. This product won the 2009 Streaming Media’s Reader’s Choice Award for best Enterprise Video Platform.
Performed UX audit across products, ultimately resulting in a reduction of tools.
Provided professional services customizations for Fortune 500 clients, including Nike, Microsoft, Intel, Toyota, Amgen, Harvard University, and many others.
Managed the redesign of the company website by providing technical and branding oversight to an outside firm.
Created the company’s Visual Style Guide.
